Orbital Deployers
Deploying CARD-SAT® satellites from the launch vehicle requires a specific dispensing system.
The developed Card-SAT® Deployer has a compact ejection system, redundant release system, confirmation switches, and access slots to the satellite interfaces.
As the width of the Card-SAT® dispenser is thinner, it can be placed between other satellites on the launch vehicle.
The developed Card-SAT® Dispenser can be used to launch a variety of Card-SAT® sizes, such as:
- 3x CARD-SAT®1U;
- 1x CARD-SAT® 1U and 1x CARD-SAT® 2U;
- 1x CARD-SAT® 3U;
CARD-SAT®s could be deployed from a main satellite for a secondary mission.
This approach allows for enhanced flexibility in space operations, enabling the primary satellite to fulfill its objectives while the CARD-SAT® units perform additional tasks.
This method of deployment also optimizes launch costs by combining missions, maximizing the use of resources for multiple purposes in a single launch.
